I love the flavor of sweet and spice combined. Using these flavors in hummus creates a healthy and

satisfying snack that you can enjoy any time of the day! Adding pecans to your hummus will improve

your immunity, boost your brain, strengthen your heart health and they can help you lose weight.

Goji berries, a recognized super food, are said to slow the signs of aging. They also aid in liver,

kidney, lung and eye health. My family enjoys dipping veggies, pretzels and bean chips in this

delicious and nutritious hummus. They also enjoy it as a condiment on their sandwiches.

Ingredients:

* 4 Cups canned garbanzo beans

* ⅔ cup Pecans

* ½ Cup Goji berries

* 4 Tbsp Avocado Oil

* 6 Tbs freshly squeezed lemon juice

* 1 tsp chili powder

* ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

* ½ tsp Himalayan sea salt

You will need to start by soaking your Goji berries. Place them in a bowl covered with water and

let them soak for 10 Min. While your berries are soaking, add everything else to a food processor

and process until the mixture is smooth. You may have to scrape down the sides to incorporate any

clumps. Once your goji berries are done soaking, drain all of the water and add them to your

mixture. Process again until the berries are at the consistency you enjoy! This will last up to a

week in the refrigerator in an airtight container.

Notes:

You could try this with almonds, pine nuts or walnuts if you prefer those. If you don’t have

avocado oil, olive oil will work just as well. Add the chili powder and cayenne pepper slowly and

adjust the spice level to your liking as you are mixing.

I hope this hummus satisfies your snack cravings!
