Making Spirits Bright! 5 Low Calorie Cocktails For Your Next Holiday Party

Trying to build a healthier lifestyle during the holiday season is challenging for everyone. It’s the busiest time of the year and certainly not always inclusive to those trying to maintain a balanced diet. While it’s always okay to indulge in your favorite holiday treats, it’s equally as important to incorporate small changes to nutritionally low recipes whenever you can. Insert: holiday cocktails. 

I have scoured the internet to find you the best holiday cocktails that are low in calories, have a higher nutritional value, AND still taste like the holiday drinks you crave every year. For your next party, try out one of these recipes and let me know what you think! I think you may be surprised at how delicious each of these taste!

Light Cranberry Mimosa

Ingredients: 

⅓ Cup Light or No Sugar Added Cranberry Juice

1 Tbsp Orange Liqueur 

⅓ Cup Champagne 

Cranberries and Rosemary for garnish

Christmas Sangria Pitcher

Ingredients: 

1 Bottle Pinot Grigio 

2 Cups Low Sugar Apple Cider

Fresh Cranberries

1 Golden Delicious Apple Cubed

Spring of Rosemary for garnish

Kombucha Cosmo

Ingredients:

1 ½ Ounces Gluten Free Vodka

1 Ounce Orange Liqueur 

½ Large lime, juiced

3 Ounces Guava Kombucha (or your favorite flavor!)

Lime for garnish

Skinny Moscow Mule

Ingredients:

2 Ounces of Vodka 

1 Can of Sugar Free Ginger Beer

½ Lime, juiced

1 Ounce Sugar Free Lemonade or lemon juice

Cranberries, Rosemary, and Lime slice for garnish

White Christmas Margarita

Ingredients:

1 Ounce Tequila

2 Tbsp Lime Juice

¼ Cup Sugar Free or Light Cranberry Juice

10 Ounce Perrier Sparkling Water (plain or lime flavored)
